Our Story
Our Story
The Caulkers Company was founded in 1985 by Diane and Jim Linder, along with their son Monte. What started as a small family operation was built on a simple standard: do the work right, treat people with respect, and stand behind it. In 1987, Diane became the first woman to join the Bricklayers’ Union, and Jim brought decades of hands-on caulking experience.
Monte played the central role in building The Caulkers Company into what it is today — leading from the front, setting the pace in the field, and growing long-term relationships with clients and partners. Today, we’re a team of more than 60 people delivering caulking, masonry, and restoration services on commercial, municipal, and multi-family projects that demand consistency, safety, and dependable results.
That same mindset continues with the next generation of leadership. Monte’s son, Anthony, started in the field nearly two decades ago and worked his way up through operations. He built our masonry division and continues to grow it, and he now serves as Vice President overseeing day-to-day execution — supporting our field crews, managing equipment and logistics, and estimating and bidding projects.
